RECREATIONAL PROGRAM Our recreational division offers classes for pre-school, children and teen
students of all ages and at many different levels. Students enrolled in our
recreational program study their subjects once or twice weekly, and progress
accordingly. Professional instructors follow an established syllabus and strive to
teach class in a friendly but disciplined environment. To assure proper class
placement and correct technical development, each student's progress is
closely monitored. Because dance is a performing art, all recreational students are featured
in our annual student revue. Although this is the main performance outlet for
these dancers, other performing opportunities often arise and student
participation is encouraged. |

ADULT PROGRAM Adult classes at The Dancer's Studio are as varied as the people attending
them. These students, men and women, young and old, from all walks of life,
form a diverse group. Whether learning basic tap technique, toning and
conditioning with Jazz, or searching for a better understanding of ballet,
the common element is fun! Mose courses are six to eight weeks in length,
and vary throughout the season. Several payment options are available to
afford students flexibility in scheduling. Many of our adult students choose
to perform in our annual revue, even though this is an optional event, and in
some cases enter the "parent/adult" category in regional or
national competitions! The emphasis here is FUN while exercising both the
body and the mind. |

TECHNIQUE ONLY "Free spirits" are always welcome at the The
Dancer's Studio! Designed for those students who are focusing on improving
weak areas, progressing at a faster rate, or who just desire more flexibility
in scheduling, the technique only program allows many opportunities. Classes are held at the intermediate/advanced level for students ages
eleven and older in ballet, tap and jazz technique. A rotating faculty
assures that the techniques in each discipline are varied and interesting,
and a ten lesson class card enables students to schedule classes as they
choose. |

COMPETITIVE PROGRAM The "Legacy Dance Team" opens the exciting world of competitive
dance to students ages four and older. Students in this program experience
learning opportunities that allow them to progress at a faster pace, while
improving confidence, self esteem and performing ability with the emphasis on
sportsmanship. |

MASTER CLASSES, WORKSHOPS & CONVENTIONS Education in both the arts and athletics is the primary goal at The
Dancer's Studio. For this reason, special courses and workshops are offered
throughout the year at differing ages, levels and interests. Whether it's a
stretch class for cheer leaders, a course in coordination for ball players or
a lyrical class with figure skaters in mind...our diverse
programs offer something for everyone! |
