SUMMER
INTENSIVE PROGRAM
JULY 25th-29th
and
AUGUST 8th-12th
The Dancer’s Studio summer intensive offers
classes for students age seven and older in ballet, tap, jazz, and other
related subjects. In addition to our regular faculty, guest teachers will also
be employed.
Classes meet daily, giving serious students
the opportunity to receive up to fifty hours of technique during a two-week
period.
Tuition in the amount of $450.00 is
all-inclusive, allowing students to take classes during both weeks on an
unlimited basis. Single class rate if $15.00 per hour. Tuition is
non-refundable.
Any student aged seven or older who wishes
to be considered for the “Legacy Dance Team 2012”, must attend the summer
intensive workshop.
Placement auditions will be held on August
13th. The audition fee is $25.00.
Team placement
will be determined by this audition as well as attendance, attitude, and
performance during the summer workshop.
Students under the age of seven may be
considered for the “Sunshine” team without this requirement, however, Mini Camp
is highly recommended.
Recreational
and Guest Students
Recreational and guest students may elect
to participate in one or both weeks of our summer workshop.
Tuition for a single week is in the amount
of $275.00, and affords students the opportunity to take all classes offered
during that period.
Once again, please note that those students
who wish to be considered for the Legacy Dance Team 2012 must be registered for
both weeks of the summer workshop.
Students should remember to bring lunch or
snacks for breaks…all level one and two breaks are supervised, however, we
cannot be responsible for students who leave the building.
Remember that age is only a guideline when
determining level…technical skill will be the deciding factor. All current
Legacy team members will be assigned to a level.
Students should be properly dressed and
groomed for all classes and come prepared with the appropriate shoes.
All dancers are expected to treat faculty
and classmates in a respectful manner. Please give your teachers your full
attention.
